Win a place at CM 2023!
The AAC SIG is very excited to announce that this year we will be sponsoring THREE of its members to attend the Communication Matters International AAC Conference 10-12th September 2023 at the University of Leeds! There will also be an opportunity for members to nominate one AAC user or a family member to win a sponsored place.
One of the places will be held for an AAC SIG member who has never attended the conference before and the other two places are for any professionals who would like to win a place. AAC SIG members nominating an AAC user or family member must get their consent before doing so.
The sponsorship will cover a full residential placement which includes lodging and meals at the conference. It will also cover attendance for one PA to go alongside an AAC user. Travel and incidental costs will not be covered. Information about the conference can be found here.
To win a place click on the buttons below to fill in a quick form. Winners will be drawn by lottery and announced during the AGM at the AAC SIG meeting on the 15th of June 2023. The winning AAC SIG members and AAC user or family member will be asked to present a 5-minute overview of a session they attended at the conference to the membership at the Study Day on the 16th of November 2023. This can be recorded if the winners cannot attend the session live.
